Your parents are probably looking at the TT like as if it's a Corvette. Your probably better off telling them you want a Golf/Jetta as a seconed option. You don't have to tell them what kind of Golf/Jetta you want Then look for a nice GTI 20th/GLI or even an R32, they all have 6spd like the TT and pretty much the same motor apart from the R32, I mean they don't have the interior of a TT or the sex appeal but at least you'll still have a special VAG car that your parents will probably approve of

 

Ya, I don't understand why they think it is impractical. A lifted jeep is very unsafe compared to a TT. Are you going to be tempted to drive the TT up a 100 foot hill and possibly roll it? NO! Although it is technically a form of four wheel drive lol

 

I just love the notion that your the one making the payment and they wont let you make the chioce.....LOL

Hahah your in the same position i was in 6 months ago, i just said exactly wat these guys are tellin you....great crash test rating, great on gas and the insurance... and like someone else said, for a car that is 8 years old, it looks like a brand new car compared to most others on the road... and if doesnt pick up women its not and Audi TT

 

I second the "2nd choice" GTI if your parents say no! I love that car and if i didn't have my TT i can almost garuntee i would have one.

 

no man....I have always been a DUB lover, but i personally think the styling of the TT looks wayyyy better than that of the gti.

 

My God, don't even try comparing a R32 to a TT...ugggh!

 

Just look at that used car lot full of Dubs and that sexy audi sitting there begging to be driven....how can your parents resist...
