Okay, so the other day I installed an APR Silicone inlet hose. I took it fora drive, and saw only 5psi, like it was computer controlled. Yup, I forgot to plug in the wastegate sensor or something. Got that hooked up, and now tonight on the highway, I was seeing a spike of 18 or 19, and drop down to 15, then to 13psi and hold that. I hear the whistle and sucking of the intake, then like a shhhhhhhhhh when at WOT. So I am led to believe I have a boost leak somewhere.

I can only think that it is from the charge piping since I needed to move that out of the way to get to the turbo. So I get back, take my leatherman that I had with me, and was able to turn the upper charge pipe clamp about 3/4-1 turn tighter, the DV hose ont hat pipe about a 1/2 turn, and the fron charge pipe clamp about 1/3 turn. Took for a quick zip, and it feels better, but I will not know until tomorrow on the highway if that made a difference.

So am I missing something somewhere that I could have overlooked? Before I was spiking 22-23, and holding 18psi.

K&N drop in air filter / modded airbox.

Elaborate more please? Is it because it's no longer sucking a sudden burst rather now it's actually efficiently drawing in air? It doesn't accelerate like it use to either?

Well I took it to my local Euro tuning shop (www.furtherperformance.com) and they were looking around, and the hose for the wastegate was at a weird or kinked angle, so we moved it around a bit and it cleared it right up! With the R1 DV it's a tight fit for that hose and coupler so I am going to put an elbow in so this doesn't happen.
