i am thinking about getting a front lip, but dont really want a too aggressive look. i really want a more sleeper look and want to get mesh front grill and maybe a lip, something to make the front less round, but i want it to match up with stock sides and rear.. is that possible ?
I think im going to leave the suspension alone, currently have the stock 17" rims and will let them ride for a while until i decide what all i really want, dont want to buy just to buy !

*EDIT* I also wanted to know if the A4 grille was the same as the TT ? There arent many places i can find that have TT Grills, any places to buy or a way to do this ??

Im looking at getting a K&N filter, not Air Intake and not the cone. I just want the K&N square insert.. does this type actually do anything for the 225hp motor and does it sound any better ? i love the sound of intake systems but just want the insert for now..

 

The second grill looks like poop.

I have seen airflow tests with the K&N drop in and it doesn't flow much better than stock but is a reasonable purchase due to the fact it is re-usable.

 

what about sound of the K&N? I want to hear the induction of the turbo and make little ricers skerd ! haha
I have been looking at other intakes, not sure which to get.. i dont want to spend 250-300$ and cant find anything cheaper unlike the drop in filter !

The drop in will do nothing for sound. The stock airbox muffles it, it's designed to stiffle the noise. For less than 130 you can pick up a conical filter and a velocity stack. Many on here like the AEM dry flows and there is a big debate about how the oiled filters can mess up the sensor in the intake. Yes it could if done incorrectly. I have ran K&N, both conical and drop ins in all my vehicles and have never had an issue. I had the K&N FPIK kit on my 300+ hp 97 Eclipse. I now run one on the TT, by way of the P-flow intake...no issues here.

You seem more concerned with wanting noise....go open element and ditch the stock airbox or try the "swiss cheese" mod with the drop in.

Yes you got the picture. Maybe Cincy or one of the other regs that use the AEM or generic conical filters will chime in and point you in the right direction of where to pick one up for a good price. Plan on spending at least $100.

 

I personally think the second grill is the better one... it looks cleaner.

If you want the drop in I have it, less than 100 miles on it. Been sitting in the box.

 

If your just wanting sound go to autozone and pick up one of there spectre filters put it directly on the sensor and it will be an extremly loud intake (specially inside the car)
