Default help please!

i'm looking to mod my TT, it's the 225 version. I'm ordering a Borla exhaust system with an intake. I also want a blow off valve and eventually a performance chip. But my question is can I buy an exhaust/bov/intake and then buy the chip later?

Is this a good combination for a few months for some extra power?

Thanks for all the help!
Ed

Yes... that would be fine. Before you go buy an ebay intake... take a look at the intakes @ modshack. They're the preferred intakes for the TT by most TT folks that mod. They have two versions: The TTDA and VTDA. If you go to the site, it has a section that goes into detail on the engineering behind it, construction etc. Besides that, when you order it... the guy will hand make it specifically for you to your liking. ie: specific colors and materials etc.

I want an APR chip, is the installation really difficult? I would probably have it installed by a mechanic but can I just buy the 225apr chip with the 2 switch mode and thats all.. No other parts are needed for the chip combo?

Sound and looks Cincy. And honestly it does give some gains over stock, just as any high flow air filter would. A good intercooler would give you hunders of timesmore performance gains than any cold air/ram intake ever could due to the fact that this is an FI car and not NA.

*edit*: Find a dealer in your area, APR/GIAC/Revo, and have them do it. It is the same price as sending the ecu to their factory and takes less than 30 minutes. A lot of times they can flash right through the OBDII port.

The real answer should say "Why spend 200 when 80 bucks will give you the same gains?" That my friend is the question?
