Default Hi all!! New member with a TT Question??

Hello everyone. I am 25, and have owned over 6 cars (All by choice) and now I am looking to buy an Audi TT. My Uncle buys cars at auction, and flips them for a career, so he is currently looking to ****** me up a slightly used Audi. My price range is between 20,000 - 30,000.

Questions:

1. Which TT should I be looking at if I like a lot of after market support?

Example: I recently sold my GTI. While the R32 was faster out of the box, the GTI had much more aftermarket support, so I went with the GTI. I am looking for the same basic stuff for my audi, something I can tinker with, and do a few minor upgrades, to increase the fun factor.

2. I currently have an 08 TT Quattro (3.2) in my sights, for around 21,000 (32000 miles). Black / hardtop / automatic
Does the Quattro have a big aftermarket scene? Any quick upgrades to swap in a few extra ponies? Software chip? Intake / Exhaust?

I've been working on cars my whole life, so I have no problem getting dirty....

Thanks for any/all advice!!!

-Bryan

...long story short, I picked up a 370Z that I'm unhappy with. I will be liking to sell in February and I want to pose the same question above. Any advice from anyone would be appreciated.
