Highest Miles on a TT
What are some of the highest miles that people have racked up on their TT? I have a 2001 180 Quat. Coupe with 75K. I am hoping to keep this car for many years and miles as long as it remain realiable as its my daily commuter car and I now drive about 130 miles round trip each day. I have kept the car mostly stock and and keep up with all maintenaince to the letter.
What have we seen here for high hiles and reliabilty as these cars age? Any thoughts?

My coworker has a 2000 180 with 175k. on it. It uses the car as his main transportation from San Bernardino to L.A daily. He said his car is the best he owned. Reliable but expensive on tires and maintenance. His is very meticulous about maintenance. Sintetic oil, Spark plugs, brakes, and timing belt twice. Engine, transmission, turbo still original.
Has he ever replaced his transmission fluid? I am considering this as a smart thing to do but Audi says its a "lifetime" synthetic fluid? Any thoughts? Is he still on his original clutch?
I have 102K on a 2000 180 FWD. I bought this car last year with 80K on it , since then i have installed a APR chip, forge DV, NEuspeed P Flow, 18" RS4 and carried alot maintenance on it so its a trouble free ride. No issues apart from a lazy fuel guage which suddenly happened after 6 months of ownership. The engine runs strong , although my hoses may need to be replaced ( anyone replaced their stock hoses , which hoses and where from )
The clutch is also holding up well even with the extra torque. This thing has at least another 50k in left in the tank.
Ive had numerous, 4 cylinder engine cars from living in england, but this is my first 4 cyl with turbo. The previous cars really had a big power drop once the mileage got above 100k. So im feeling confident that this TT should last a good few more years , while still giving maximum peformance.

As for the above post about the tranny fluid, i havent heard the audi fluid being lifetime.
i changed mine over to redline , and plan on changing it every two years.
couple hundred bucks every couple years or a new tranny - thats no contest

well if you look at the TT manual you'll see that it says that the trany fluid never has to be replaced but yea i would change it at least once everyother year with the syn stuff just to have peace of mind
I bought my car july 5th last year with 53,000 miles on it, I currently have 78,000 on it. Assuming I can keep the deer away, and keep it away from the guardrail, I should have a pretty high milage TT within a few years.
Hi,
I just hit 240,000 miles driven on my 2002 180 hp TT and she is still going strong! My car is my "work car" that is used daily to drive for my business. This is by far the best car I have ever owned and I will drive it til she is done. No new car for me. Why have a payment when mine still looks hot and is still reliable.

Just be sure to run the a/c occasionally in the winter AND the heat in the summer. I recently sold my 2001 225 quattro coupe with 206k miles on it, and the buyer called me and said the heat wasn't working. I had no idea, since I hadn't run the heat since last spring. The core is probably clogged and the buyer is going to have to flush the system. Periodically using the heater might have prevented this.
208,000 on a 2004 TT Roadster. Usual maintenance items; suspension, brakes, timing belts, etc. Never left me stranded personally; fuel pump gave out on my wife. Looking forward to the next 200,000 miles. Great car.
