Hit a Damn Deer.... Pic
I slammed on the brakes and hit going about 25mph. Not too much damage. The headlight is pushed in about 1cm though. State farm insurance is going to cover it, minus my $500 duct.
Any suggestions for aftermarket grills? I don't really like any aftermarket bumpers. Maybe I'll go with the 3.2L bumper though... not sure.

It's $4000 to repair. I was hoping the deer broke his leg so I could walk over and stomp on his face and **** in his eyes. lol. But, he just kept running.
I'm not sure if it made the national news, but about 2-3 months ago some guys were arrested in WI for "gutting" a deer with a snowmobile track and also tieing one to a tree.

I really lol'd.
I hit a deer with my first Audi when I was 18, an 86 4000S. I was doing 65, didn't touch the brakes. It was right around dusk, and with the glare of headlights coming at me, I never saw the deer. When I finally got to where it stopped skidding across a field, it was still breathing, but otherwise not moving. I picked its head up by the antler, and punched the **** out of it. I was not happy.
Good luck with the repairs. Doesn't look too bad. Bumper, grille, and possibly headlight? I'd hang on to the broken headlight if I were you, they're still good for parts (ballasts, lens, bulbs). Or you could make a bitchin 12v flashlight.

no, terrible is what my friend did, and he felt terrible about it.
he hit a deer, and broke its legs. It kept trying to get up and run, but obviously couldn't with multiple broken legs.
Normally, he carried a knife, and if he had it, he'd have slit its throat to put it down, but he was driving his moms van, and didn't have his knife. He considered driving home quick to get a gun, but didn't want to leave the deer suffering another 20-30 minutes, so he improvised.
with a tire iron.
