Are the hks mushroom air filters any good?

So my air intake filteris collapsing and someone told me that the hks mushroom air intake filter is very good. has anyone ever used one before? I see them a lot on my friends supra's and bmw's, but never seen one on an audi. I hear they breath a lot better becuase they are foam.Just let me know thanks

go to AWEtuning and look up their filter... i had that one, went to neuspeed intake, then back... its that good. its foam also

Saw a 500 HP TT the other night at a tuning shop and it had the HKS filter on it. I suppose it probably isn't bad.

You know those air filters they use on sprint cars? They look like shoe boxes, and are about that size... K&N sells them, they're only about $700. They'll flow upto 2700CFM ; )

I think the mean green air filter is over-rated. Not to mention it doesnt go with my color scheme under the hood lol!

I had a generic version for awhile. Its not oiled so you dont have to worry about it messing up the maf.
