Question How do i get to the air filter in 08 TT Roadster?

I have a 08 TT Roadster with the 2.0 engine and was going to put a K&N filter in but I can't figure out how to get the housing off. I really feel silly asking the question.
This is the first car/truck I have ever owned that I can't get into (and i've owned about 15 vehicles).
Help! How do I get in to change the filter out?
I did break down and look in the manual, it was no help. Even looked on youtube for video, no luck.
Thanks in advance.

I looked high and low, no screws. I don't want to just yank on it and break something since intake goes into right rear of cover and comes out left rear section of the cover. The air cleaner appears to be built into the whole top covering over the engine. Guess i will have to break down and call the dealer for directions Monday. I am truly baffeled! It sure isn't like my old Mustang or Lesabre convertibles.

if there arent any screws then there are clips. They will prob only be on one side. The other side will have a slip in type deal...

looks like you have to remove the engine cover piece and the filter is inside it. Shouldnt be to bad.

and here is a link for future diy's. This was on vwvortex.

Myslow1... THANKS! I couldn't have / wouldn't have done it without that. I was scared to keep pulling. However, after reading the two links I figured I could do it, and did. All in all it took about 40 minutes. The photos were very helpful, thank you again.

Well after a couple of weeks with new K&N air filter I am getting 32+ mpg on the highway (about 80mph average) and loving it. Thanks again for the help (the top is still down).
