Default How do you drive your TT?

Hey guys.

I was just wondering how you drove your car. I have a 225 2001 TT with modifications (Milltek, REVO, Forge DV, etc. etc.).For the most part I try to drive my car very conservatively/economically (keeping the overall lifespan of my car's engine to it's fullest and be gas conscious).

I normally stay around 2.5KRPM-3KRPM. What do you guys run?

Thanks for your input!!!

Its actually my wifes car, she takes really good care of it but isn't afraid to open the throttle!!

I have a play in it over the weekends so it gets a mixture of use.....

From my experience, people who don't 'use' their car and baby it too much are the ones which end up having the most issues?! its weird! lol....

whats the point in spending money on mods that give you power if you shift before they even peak? You arent going to break anything by actually reving the car out, just use more gas.

a bunch of issues can result from not opening her up and cleaning her out once in a while.

see: Italian Tune Up

Not really that strange that a babied car will have problems, at least not from what i've seen.

I drive mine aggressively most of the time but I sure as hell don't beat on it. What's the point of a sporty coupe if you drive it like a grocery getter?

I mostly keep high RPMs shifting around 3,500. I try to stay low in gear. I just drove up to albany yesterday and spent more time in 5th gear than 6th. I'm not really a speed demon but I do get on it every & then. I enjoy the acceleration not top speed.
