i owned two 3-series BMWs before coming over to audi. i loved them both, had some good times with them, and drove them both well into 6-figure mileage.
before i got the TT i was considering a Z3 M coupe, which is IMO one of the coolest cars BMW has come out with over the years. but in the end the audi won me over.
once the TT is paid off, i intend to garage it for the long haul and try to keep it as a fun occasional car- so for me the 135 would be a nice new addition as a daily driver. i would def. seriously consider one of those.
but one thing i gotta say is that if its not AWD i dont know if i would really be happy. i loved my bimmers on nice days, but they SUCKED in snow with the RWD.
i remember being pissed off one winter when i got stuck in the BMW and had to use my ex's subaru legacy to help me push it into the driveway. i guess ricers are good for some things occasionally

God knows I like BMWs (I've owned 3), but the transition won't be favorable. BMW's are heavier, slower, and a far cry less attractive than Audi...plus, the handling isn't even comparable (in Audi's favor). I saw the 1-series when I was in france last year and they are pretty goofy looking. Remember also when BMW introduces a model to the US it will be costly to repair and maintain until it has been in production for a few years.

If you have to go BMW, go with the ZM3 Coupe.... Now that's sexy...

Love the look of the 1 series, but I gotta stay with the rings, not to mention, I can't afford a new car.

I dig the MZ3, despite it's "dick" shape, it's quick and pretty fun to drive.... I think it looks kinda mid-90's rally car-ish... My buddy owns one and we race on occasion....it's quick!
