So im driving to work today, and on my right about 2 car lengths up I see a black topless tt. I briskly catch up, to see the owner...age ...etc ...


any which way the guy was around my age....didn't even look over.... flipp'n lame!

People who drive cars with style should be people with style as well....

I was so ready to throw the thumbs up.... but instead.... i give him the thumbs down...


after all said and done...i just threw my car into gear and buzzed off.....

his car was stock by the looks of it...so it wouldn't have kept up with mine if he had been egaged to race.... (Or so it seems)

 

TT drivers stuck up?
Ones i've ran into have been nice.
But maybe there not as nice as i thought.

 

I wish I lived somewhere where I could find a TT wiith the top down. For some reason, I believe 28 degrees is just too cold, even wth the heated seats. People treat me like a snob now that I have an Audi, but I always tell them that the bank has lots of money.

In my city of 8,000 people, somehow... theres 5 other TT's. 4 of them are a-holes, the 5th is a Judge, so even if he was an ahole, I wouldn't say so ; )

I've chatted with him on a few occasions, when my ex was living with me, she worked at a coffee shop this Judge frequented, I haven't talked to him in about a year, hopefully he remembers who I am, incase I get a ticket in his district.

I did have on occasion where I was in the yard grilling, and a modded TT with a couple college guys drove by, I dont know if they saw me, but they saw the car, and cheered and soforth. I was hoping to get a plate number, and try to find out who they were, no dice.

Hmm, maybve a custom plate is a good idea, its alot easier to pick out a car with a custom plate then to try to memorize a standard plate.

 

I live on Fort Campbell in Kentucky. There is 4 TT's on the entire post. One black one (mine), two silver, and a metallic grey one. We always wave when one of us passes the other. Most of the cars here are the "fast and furious" hondas and mistubishis so its nice to see another euro driving around.

 

I live in Vancouver Canada and it seems that TT owners have a bad rep ... why is that..... I wonder....... I met 2 other tt owners through a car meet and they're great! maybe meeting in person vs on the road is different? I think most people when they drive on the road... they have this defensive attitude....... so far the tt drivers I've seen on the road are pretty stuckup.. come to think of it... is that how people think of me when they see me driving? bah..... i'll just let my blowoff go and leave them to dust! :P

I don't think I can personally handle getting rejected by my "TT thumbs up" again! It is especially embarrassing when you have a girl in the car and you wave at another TT just to have them give you a look like you are completely insane![&o] Florida TT owners are not exactly enthusiasts....
