Just got off work today checked the mailbox and what do you know Audi of America sent me a paper saying they would fix my cluster free of charge under warranty if done by June 16, 2008!!! I am even more excited because i got a ticket last night, and the DA is willing to let me off if I take my car to the dealership!!! Has anyone else got this "Settlement Claim Form - Audi TT Instrument Cluster Settlement Administrator"

that letter does not mean 100% that you'll get a new cluster for free. Just that you may be entitled to one. You're car has to be less than 6yrs old from the original in service date to have a great shot at a free cluster. If you're car is older than 6yrs then you will need to have spoken to someone within the original 6yr period and had your cluster diagnosed as bad. In that case I'll give you a 50/50 shot. If you've already paid for a new cluster within the 6yr period and have documentation of doing so I'll give that a 50/50 shot as well.

You did NOT (i repeat NOT) win the cluster lotto. But good luck, we'll all need it.

 

yeah i don't think "audi of america" sent u anything....they don't even have knowledge of whats going on as of now. but i hope it goes though for the sake of everyone with cluster problems.

 

well i dont know the whole story about this paper but i called my local audi vw porsche dealer and the head of the service dept. said to bring it in along w/ the paper and they would do the work. I would hope they would know what they were talking about as far as the paper goes. and if worse comes to worse at least this paperis probably gonna getme out of my ticket!!!
