Maybe an inch or so lower in the front than the sides of the car, if that helps.

I don't have any problems bottoming out, I just try to be careful when exiting parking lots on a decline.

Stock height for now, but my suspension is shot. The new setup will most likely have a 1" drop. I live in the NE, so I can't slam it like my cars in FL.

nice name... almost ;]

good to see another ex-TRD owner. wow didn't know the 2zz-ge can fit in the spyders? oh well. i had a celica GTS and i loved it. lift (VVTL-i) is insane and i couldn't imagine what it would feel like in a lighter chassis like the MR-S.

hmm pretty much u had a budgeted TRD elise on your hands there buddy!

p.s. - i feel your pain =(

Yeah, no doubt, it was fast as hell. I also had an awesome mod base:

2ZZ-GE Swapped with 5 speed transmission: Unorthodox Racing Crank Pulley, Unorthodox Racing Water Pump Pulley, Unorthodox Racing Alternator Pulley, Custom 2zz Che Header, 1zz OBX CAI, Che Test Pipe, Custom Magnaflow Exhaust, Apexi PowerFC Stand alone ECU replacement, TRD Thermostat

Before that, I owned a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Nick + Eclipse = Niclipse. I've had this moniker for over a decade.

ahh very nice. ur 2zz was pretty hooked up. i only had the ac autotechnic cai, trd exhaust and the apexi pfc (i had the 02' GTS w. the rev limiter.) gotta love the 8k rpm redline.

how did the 5 speed go w/ the 2zz? did u have to mess around w/ the gear ratios/final drives?

p.s. - GST/GSX by any chance?

The 5 speed from the 1zz OE spyder motor fit the 2zz, so I didnt see the need to buy a new 6 speed transmission. In retrospect, i'm glad I didn't because after 3,200 mile of the 2zz swap completion, I total'd it.

Unfortunately, It was an automatic RS. It was my first car (17 years old) and I couldnt afford the insurance of a turbo charged car nor did I know how to drive a stick shift.

Sorry to hear about your car, but glad you came out ok! The TT section on the vortex has some pretty good information as well.
