Im trying to figure out what color wires go to what pin for the MAF of an 01 audi tt 225. They have Black, green , red/purple, and blue/yellow. Hope someone can help. Thanks

 

I used vag and it said that my MAF signal is too high, at the same time my ESP light stays on bc of this code. What could it mean?

I'm having the exact same trouble on my 225 and have replaced almost everything related under the bonnet. Did you ever find the cause?

Black is labled as pin 5 on the MAF and it goes to pin 29 on the engine control module under the cowl panel under the windshield. Green = pin 5 and goes to pin 27 ECM. Red w/purple = pin 4 and goes to ECM 53. The blue w/yellow wire is crazy. It looks to go to a switch maybe and is split to go to the evap canister purge regulator valve, located next to coolant reservoir. But also the wire goes to secondary air injection solenoid valve, located left side eng under intake manifold. But it also goes to o2 sensor 1 and 2. Also goes to tank ventilation valve and fuse panel. Whew. The blue/yellow wire is still blue/yellow in these diagrams but it says that it may be blue/w red in some cases, the most likely being the o2 harnesses. So test away!
