Yes... if you have all the air together in one chamber... only a finite amount of it is actually touching the metal and disapating heat. You need as MUCH air to metal contact as possible without beginning to restrict airflow. Sometimes if you put so many small channels inside it, theres a tons or air broken up into different areas and all touching the metal... but now its restricting flow. it needs to be a happy medium

The machine shop should be done with my block and i should be able to pick up my engine by the end of the week, if that is the case i should have it back before the end of next week.

hmm wondering why the APR out performs the Forge ...." a bar and plate intercooler is more efficent for cooling the intake charge temparature." and its cheaper!!! and uses stainless steel piping as well as silicone

The Forge core is only 2" thick and the APR kit looks EXACTLY like a spearco setup. Steve Schwing claims his is Forge is 93% effecient but i never believe what he says. He never says when and for how long.

Im sure he hates me by now

I dont like 2" thick tube and fin cores. Spearco/Turbonetics make pretty good cores. The core alone that looks like the APR kit is almost $600 by itself.
