I got a letter today about the coil trade out / reimbursement thing from audi..
anyone tried doing the reimbursement thing yet? I was getting my stuff together to mail in.

i got a letter about that too, but havent looked into it much.ive had to replace all 4 so reimbursement would be nice.maybe ill call up the dealer tomorrow and look into that.let us know if you have any luck
Well what the letter said was they will send another letter soon to let me know when I could take my car to an Audi dealer to get 4 new coils at no cost. If I had replaced them prior to this program i can also send in the paperwork for that with proof of payment for reimbursement... and can still get the coils replaced for free after doing that. So I sent in my paperwork but it says up to 90 days before I get a check or claim gets denied... I'll let people know if anything comes of it.
You can check on Audiusa.com , and they have the info on there. I just found out about it from another site. I checked on it about my motor and it said my estimated notification time isn't until Oct of 09 - April 2010. So that's why most haven't heard about it. And than a guy from ECStuning said he has heard of many going to a dealer and they will take care of it asap even with out getting told about it. So im thinking of trying to call them.
