Default Im ordering the GT28r fot TT, what else to I need?

By friday hopefully i will be ordering the GT28r for my 01 TT 225. I have an apr chip, FMIC, and turbo inlet piep from APR. Will this turbo be a direct fit or will it just be a potatoe. nobody seems to know. If anyone does please let me know. im justtrying to get 310 to 340 whp. Do I need bigger injectors and 4 pressure fual bar? Or should I just go with a T3 turbo. I found a 1.8 turbo manifold on ebay for 189 that will fit a T# but what else would I need? Thanks

You'll need a different exhaust manifold, it won't be a bolt on for the 28 unless you go through ATP and get an Eliminator, but not everyone who has the eliminator is happy with it.

APR has a good manifold for bolting on the t28. I personally am probably going the t3/t4 route with an equalized exhaust manifold, but for our cars the t28 is about all you'll ever need. I just like the T series as they have been around a long time and proven themselves to me

gt28r will get you 270-280whp that is it. For 300 you will need a gt28rs and for the 340 you will need a gt2871r.

That is with the normal bolt ons intake and exhaust, ic.

You will need at least 440cc injectors or even 530cc if you want to go bigger.
A manifold from atp or pagparts
The apr inlet will have to go also

and please avoid an ebay maniflod--- CRACK CITY!!

** of course you will need a custom downpipe since no one makes it for the awd tt's.

who are you ordering from? talk to the guys are Renn-Art and Eurocodtuning.com they all say the same thing......go with the APR stage 3+ its a direct fit and comes with everything you need and i guess it ends up costing less then just trying to get the turbo then trying to get everything else needed to produce those hp numbers.....i tried to do the same thing and it got me nowhere.....so i'm just gonna save and upgrade whenever my K04 goes(hopefully no that soon) and get the Apr stage 3+ or this new kit that eurocodetuning is developing right now.
