intake air flow
Better and cheaper is to use aircraft tubing... here are my front feeds

You can get the Aeroduct tubing from Aircraft Spruce. I have these dual feeds running to my TTDA. Cold air always plus at speed you get the added effect of positive pressure.

In order to run the full dual feed setup, you have to cut a bit out of one of the brackets that holds the left front fender. I used a dremel on the bracket, once you get things opened up, it's pretty easy to see where to make the cut. The other runs down and out under the battery. Take a look at my Fotki page for a few more pics. I think Schwing has some more details on his Fotki site as well.
I dunno if you were reading me right precisiontt, what I was saying was that 3" in front of my filter, I saw AT MAX, 15°F over whatever outside air temp was, as long as the car was moving. It was usually 10°, but if I got into a draft behind a truck, it would climb a few degrees.
So, if it was an 80° day, air entering my intake was about 90°, not 215°, unless the car was at a standstill, which it rarely is unless its parked.

And again, this is my setup.
