Actually, the touch is a bit thinner.

yeah the itouch it considerably thinner than the new iphone 3g....

What kinda cord/wire can u use on a stock head unit? For the touch. And where do u get it

well, im pretty sure i can figure it out. my next step is to get behind the stereo and see if it has any inputs in the back. i dont want to use an FM transmitter (because they SUCK!). i might be able to hard wire the iphone through the cd changers input if there is no way back there. anyone know what the back of these bose cd units look like?

You have to go through the CD changer. the radio doesnt have extra inputs in the back.
I got my adapter from peripheral electronics.

Warranty225cpe--- I'm guessing you plan on going threw the A piller then roof pannel ,and finly dropping down into the visiour? Right??
Please take many picture of how you do so. Doesn't look like much fun. But a very nice clean look!

So I'm running it from the cd changer or from the back of the unit? If I can go from where the changer is, then this is gonna be alot easier than I thought.

yea, you start at the back lower corner of the cd changer. Take rear seats out and peal the side panel back ti disconnect the changer, plug the interface in and run the cable.

That's fukin awesome! That's gonna be so much easier! Other than the end that connects to the phone, what does the other end look like? Is it like RCA cables?
