Just installed Turbosmart BOV but have a weird sound
Oh i remember this because i was playing around with the top and did click a few times. such just rotate it until it stops clicking right ... hmm i will give that a try ... thanks so much cincyTT
Nope, I don't know anything about blowoff valves and won't pretend to, which was the reason for my original question. I have however, answered posts that I had experience with, tyvm.

no no no... dont turn til the clicking stops. turn it a little at a time and drive it until the turkey sound stops.

no dv/bov will gain you hp. it just prevents you from losing it and/or damaging your turbo. It just comes down to sound.
The only REAL benifiet of a bov over a dv is less clutter in the engine bay and allows you to run your intake/intercooler piping however you like without trying to connect the two with a dv return line.

To all the noobs in this thread (no offence, just going off of how many posts you have) I have browsed these forums a lot and work on my own car. Let me just say one thing.
