I would find stock pistons from a junk yard or on a forum and get some IE rods to match the pistons (19mm or 20mm)

Sorry, didnt know i linked you to the stroker stuff, just ment for it to go to the main page.

I personally dont know a person that has eagle rods in a 1.8t, didnt even know they made them. I run wiseco pistons in my motor, but i wouldnt pick up the eagle rods. IE, Scat, or Brute would be the ones i would go with. Also, if he isnt putting anything more than a stock turbo on the car, i would just drop another stock 1.8t motor in it. It was just a fluke for it to blow with a stock turbo, happens very rarely

Thanks for the help cincyTT.. really really happens, the oil pump break... so, consequently a lot of things break too... lifters, valves, valve guides, turbo, etc, etc...

Just another last question... it's the AMU engine same of the APX engine???... it's the same thing in everything???...

The AMU engine come with the US versions and the APX with the EURO versions, right???...
