I'm a person who looks at life negitively mostly, I'ts hard to impress me...and I typically I look down upon things once they let me down. - That noted I do bitch about my TT alot, however I do love this little car. Tonight was a sure fire reason why.

Tonight my girlfriend and I went to get a movie, However she drove. - Might I add it is sexy watching her drive this car. - Now she normally drives a Mercedes C240, which is her daily driver. - Anywho while she was driving it tonight she kept putting the car in 4th gear while we were crusing at 35mph, That being the TT is desided to bob in and out of traffic I insisted she place the car in 3rd gear. - She did and a big grin came over her face as she accelerated. - It was even better when I said, "Throw it down in second gear and see what happens." - She just snapped her head! I loved it!

After awhile we drove some more and decided to get ice cream, we ordered our favorite treats and as we were walking she stated, " be sure not to spill anything in m.....I mean your car." ..hahaha. - But the best thing was as we were leaving I noticed this 12/13 year old kid...drop his jaw and he just pointed and smiled, then said look mommy...grabbed his moms and and made her look to.

It made my night.


Oh yes, I also found something out as well. - If you open BOTH of your doors and look at it in from the passenger side it makes our interior look freaking amazing.

Also if you open both doors and look at the car directly from the back, the car looks like a huge bug/spacehip looking bug that is ready to flap its wings and fly off.

Yeah kids love this car. I've had so many kids on bikes ask me how fast it goes. Haha

Girls seem to love it too. Occasionally I get douchebags in Mustangs look at me at a stoplight and laugh... one guy even said, "Cute car." I just said, "Nice interior," and drove off.

If you have a chip and a few basic mods your car is faster than a Mustang GT. - I've raced several.

 

My partner has an 89 IROC-Z with the 5.7 litre in it and when we were driving the TT and the IROC back from California when we relocated to Ohio he blew past me doing about 90 mph on a lonely stretch of I-40 in the Mojave Desert. I didn't even drop out of 6th gear. I floored it and in about 15 seconds I blew past him doing 125 mph. Mind you, this IROC has full dual exhausts, a big bore throttle body and is chipped. It can scorch me off the line, but once the boost kicks in I can take that car everytime.

 

MMmmm... i love my TT cause (as a high schooler) the ladies dont mind it.. actually they love it

...20% black tints do a world of wonder too, if you know what i mean of course

 

Unfortunately as a 180hp TT that isn't true. =P

 

I have a 180hp manual TT with the following mods:

APR racing chip
Stage 1 clutch / 14lbs flywheel
Borla exhaust
Intake


and I had NO issues whatsoever with a Mustang GT. - Mind you both times it could have been the drivers, but I dont see why a 180 with a couple mods cant beat them.

my buddy and i shoved 2 girls in the back seat(s) a few weeks ago.

i warned them but they insisted that they ride in the audi. it wasn't classy at all.... haha - but funny as hell!
