Default License Braket

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have ever replaced your license braket. In Virginia we have to have a front plate (which is the ugliest thing you could possibly put on these cars). I checked genuine audi parts and found the braket- but its almost 60$!!!

Anyways i just wanted to know if there are any one that are cheaper, and how to exactly replace /get one on and off. Shouldnt be too hard since its bolted to a removes piece anyway.

Agreed.
I bought a $7 generic plate braket from pepboys/ autozone and bolted it to the removable part on the front bumper. Once I get my new bumper Im going to put 75$ in the car and refuse to put a plate on it.

AWDrifter- hahahah i hear ya man, i hate having to keep mine up. Id rather pay for the ticket each time gettin pulled over than have one up at all

Lenny- i think mine might be as well, and if so that means whole new plate cover which im not gonna be happy about. As of right now i havent given it the full inspection, but i always expect the worst lol haha...yo are you on facebook??? lol

Ohh cuz when i clicked on the pics of your car it had a facebook symbol on it. Send me a friend request on there(Tyler Spahr), dont worry im not stalkin ya lol. That magnet thing is exactly what i was thinkin of as well, only problem around my hood is, because tend to take stuff off cars, especially tags. If it was magnetic, id make their lives so much easier hahahah
