I have not seen issues with 2000-2004 cars. I have an AMU, and it works fine. You may not get a few individual functions depending on your car (2001 does not have an EGT sensor, so there this function does not work) - Audi built them differently through the years.

I will communicate shipping and payment with people on the list via e-mail. Please e-mail me your forum ID, e-mail address, year of your car, and engine code to mike(at)mcpii(dot)com.

VAGCOM can obvioulsy do all the same things, and more. The liquidTT is NOT a replacement for VAGCOM. Try fitting VAGCOM in a vent, though... Different tool, different usage/target.

I have been simulating the loss of a vent, and in 90 DEgF temps, the loss is notable

How are you simulating it? If you plug the vent (stuff it with bubble wrap) the airflow should come out the other three, with no net effect. If you don't plug it, the cold air will chill your dash area, not the cabin - very noticeable.
