I use my lift, others mostly use jack stands.

I'm sure if you find any sort of "low profile" ramp plenty of people would be interested!

Know anyone with an oil pit? That's another way to get under the car.

at the risk of sounding like an a$$hole...Why don't you just make them?

Some square tubing, some expanded metal, and a couple hours of work if that.

If you can weld, try to figure out the degree you want, and the length you need and have a fab shop make 'em...unless you find them online somewhere...

There's always plan B...Dig a pit in your garage

Just cut two 16" pieces of 2"x10", lay them at the base of the ramps and drive on. Works fine for me.

I was gonna suggest the same thing timbo. I have a pit, and I still need to lay 2x4's down, to get clearance over the skirt that lines the edge of the pit so you dont accidentally drive in.

For those that would be interested in aluminum ramps, how interested are you? I'm a welder, I could throw some nice ones together in no time. If theres some interest, I'll figure out what materials would cost, plus my time.

Thats fine, the difference would be 'something put together that will work out' and 'nice aluminum ones', designed specifically with your car in mind.
It is your car, your ramps, and ultimately, your decision though, good luck, let us know how they turn out.

Speaking of welding, its the side jobs that are fun. A guy just brought a little logging trailer over, needed some cracks repaired, took me an hr total, mostly because the uprights had to be bent back into position. Paid me $55. Added that to the tattoo fund, $220 saved up from odds and ends jobs, an equal amount in the 'Audi 5000 fund' which may shortly be renamed the 'old VW Sirocco fund'
