RE: Misfire!!!
Check your plugs now and see if they are good and gapped right. If not, regap them or go to walmart or somewhere 24hr and get some new ones. If that doesnt go away on the way to work, have the codes read and replace the pack(s) that need it. You will be fine for a short time, but i wouldnt drive with it to much since its basically detination in the cylinders

I just had the car serviced for its 35,000 mile service...the plugs shouldve already been changed!!!
All I know is that the car is running rough, and it sounds like a damn ricer when i drive!!

Also doesn't mean they weren't dropped or something. I have Denso's with 10K miles on them, and a misfire at idle or or hard revs. Assumed it was the coilpack, but when I pulled the plug for that cylinder just for an inspection, I noticed arc marks down the ceramic. Basically, spark would rather go down the outside of my plug to ground, rather than down the electrode. Have new plugs... but little motivation to replace them in less than 60° weather. My hands are so full of scar tissue, they ache terribly if I work in the cold.
Anyway, back on subject, just because they're new plugs, doesn't mean they're good.

RE: Misfire!!!
Funny story...after the coil pack that failed was replaced, then another failed on the test drive...so I have already replaced 3 out of 4...i am waiting on the next one to fail so my extended warranty will cover it.
