Default Miss my TT trying to get another one.

The dumbest thing i ever did was selling my 02 Quattro but at that time i purchased a house and needed the money.

But i'm on the search for another but sadly enough i think there out of my price range now. I don't have 20K to drop on a car.
I've been looking at wrecked TT but i'm a little worried parts are going to be crazy expensive for this car.
Is this true?

Also been looking at high millage ones for around 10 11K

One other question i have is was the 00 Quattro a 225? or 180? I noticed the older 180's had treeible torque numbers which i'm not crazy about.

Thanks for the help guys.

Also if you know anyone with a really high millage TT for cheap anywhere in the USA let me know.

2000's are all 180's, either fwd or awd, 225's started in 01

Looking at an 01 6 speed dual exhuast quattro this is the 225 right?

is has 80K miles on it. Do these cars have problems when they hit higher miles.

The only thing to really worry about with 80K is whether or not the Timing Belt has been changed. Anything past 60K is risking serious failure.

if its duel exhaust, its a 225, also, look under the hood, if theres a big aluminum crossover pipe that wraps around the engine near the firewall with a sticker on it implying its hot.. its a 225.
