Default MK-I TT Seat latch question.

Ok, so the back seat on the driver's side will not latch when I attempt to put it back up. I have fiddled with it for a good hour to no avail. Is there a way to replace the latch alone in the seat or must I replace the entire seat?

Bentley does not say the seatback needs to be removed first.

Here's what they say about removing the seat latch trim.

1. Remove screws 3 (two hex/allen key nut on top and bottom of latch slot) and 4 (philips head at top of trim.)

2. do not remove screw (2, a philips head directly right of the latch slot) for reinforcement plate unless rear seat latch trim is removed. Plate can fall into back rest.

3. pull off rear seat latch trim.

Hope this helps.

cheers.

Awsome, thanks!

I contacted Chris at ECS and I am gonna give him my VIN on Monday so that he can find the exact part I need.
