why spend the money on an engine swap? a 1.8t is great for modding

2.8l vr6 should bolt right in there. same tranny end engine mounts
i wanted to do this too... but im too far into the 1.8t now

Yes it would be a tight fit though. And it would make the car understeer more than it does already.
Just bolt a gt45R onto that 1.8 and have fun.
