Wink move to a 2 seater?

I'm looking into getting an '09 TT. My only reservation is moving from a 4 door to a 2 seater. Has anyone regretted buying a 2 seater? How much of a lifestyle change is it? I love the TT and how it looks, drives, etc. But I'm wondering if anyone had any difficulty going from a 4 door sedan to a 2 door 2 seater. If anyone has any advice about buying a TT and which one to get (leaning toward the 3.2 Quattro) I'd love to hear it. Any help would be appreciated.

so your getting the roadster? the coupe is still a 4 seater i think, though no full grown adult can fit in the back!

do you regularly have people in your back seat?? if so, look at an s4 or something, i dont regret getting a two door, but i also have another car that is a 4 door.

the TT is great and the 09 is pretty dang sexy, good luck on what u decide on, however i would get the 2.0T, there is another thread based on this you might wanna take a gander at

That pretty much sums it up. If you haul people, don't get a tt. Its nice to never be the DD. heh

Also should note that trunk space isn't great either. Sure they are pictures of 4 rims in the trunk, but you actually need a diagram to figure out how to put them in. Don't get the tt if you normally buy large items (ie: unassembled coffie tv, 27" lcd tv, night stand, vacume in box, ect would all be borderline fit).

thanks all! I don't have too many people that i haul around. 90% of the time it's me and one other person. I will check out the thread about the 2.0 vs the 3.2.

Any one know how it does in the snow?

youve never driven quattro in the snow?!?!

shh.. nobody say anything.. make her find out on her own

hint, you wont be dissapointed...

btw, if your deciding between 3.2 and 2.0 simply enough, if your going to mod it, get the 2.0, if your leaving it stock, 3.2 is the way to go

I just about never have anyone else but one person with me so it makes no difference to me. It was always just my brother or my GF. If it was more than that, we would take theirs (she has a 4dr civic and he has a passat).

You nuts? The hatch makes it so much more useful than a sedan to carry larger things. When i moved to fl i had a large tv, crap load of clothes, all my cookware (thats a crap load in itself), and a bunch of odds and ends. Not to mention my GF rode with me. It was so heavy the springs creaked.

Thanks again! I think I'll opt for the Quattro since I live in Michigan and drive home to Buffalo quite often. I have a Jetta now that has done me good but it's time to move on to something a little more fun. Hopefully I can take delievery by the end of the year!

I am kinda tired of 2 seaters. Mostly it's just me and maybe a passenger. But there are unexpected times when I wish I had room to fit 1 or 2 more ppl.
