Sorry about your ride. I got off lucky yesterday when some a-wipe punched out my tail light ina parking lot. Probaby some dweeb driving his '82 Pacer.

Reminds me of the insurance ad on tv. I'm the guy who parks way the hell out in no mans land, away from everyone. I get back and find some ratty pickup truck, full of scrap metal, hanging out the sides, parked right up next to me. Go figure.

 

It hurts whenI hear all this... My baby is lucky i guess... Sleeps in the garage every night, and when I'm out, i always stay where i can see my ride( near a window or somewhere i can sneak a peak at it every 5 minutes ) it might sound wierd...but I've heard the paint on these cars will never be the same no matter who does the job if trying to fix up a scratch...
Good luck bro, if someone would do that to my car, I would find out, and i will shoot their dog and cut their faces off... back where I'm from, the cops dont give a damn, we do our own justice...
I have a lot of stories of people getting caught trying to steal cars back there... justice was served...

 

This all seems to be part of the price of owning the car... whatever doesn't break naturally, some jelouse dork smashes. I pretty much keep the car in plain sight all the time and garaged at night. Keeps her mostly safe, though I will admit, there are a few minor mystery dents...

Man that really bites. I hope you have a low deductible on your comprehensive coverage. I keep a $100 deductible on all my cars. It's cheap.. raises your policy premium about $40/year per vehicle. Sure beats having to dole out $500-$1000 if someone jacks your ride or messes with it.

my deductible is 100 i thought it was 500...getting a little more happy now. bout to get a new front bumper....votex audi oem i think...maybe a new paint job..and new fenders maybe the osir ones...trying to get the best out of this.
