So, this happend all last night. I was driving along and i happen to pass this haggerd yellow CRX si. We pull up to the light he looks at me, I look at him, he does his ricer shabang aka punches it when the light turns green and all I hear is baaaaaaaaaaaaBAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! So, I pull up the next light and he revs his car at me, so i return the favor. When the light hits green, we both go at it. I spin 1st and slightly through 2nd (it was slightly wet out). and soon as I hit 3rd gear he's a good distance back. ^^

Next race was with a 92-ish Civic hatch back. primerblack rockin the donut rims. He had his window down, and I guess he heard my DV as i passed him, out of the blue I see this small black civic pull out of no where and do a rice flyby. So I folow him on to the highway ramp, and we do a 60mph roll and obviously I pull on him hard...

silly ricers. make me happy. ^^

I raced someone with a K20 in a EK hatch without knowing he had a k20 in ther and I got owned.

 

Those little bastards are either slow as hell or fast as hell. Even with only 200-225hp and very little torque they can really move since they are so light and dont need the TQ. You really have to size up the car and driver before racing one. The exhaust is the best place to look. If they have a crappy universal deal, they suck, and if they have a clean looking exhaust, they are highly more likely to have something more done to the car since they car about the exhaust to pay for a real one. ALso since they just run a map, if they have a turbo, you will hear the turbo or bov.

ok i'll break it down easily for you about ricers, and flame me if you want, but this test, conducted by me in my city day to day, has proven these actual results:

mexicans driving: slow as hell + ugly as hell
asians driving: fast as hell + most of the time, nice as hell

i'm not being biased bc im asian, well pacific islander, but... cmooon. you know it's true!

 

May I respectfully point out that every latino is not mexican. That's all.

 

HE IS FROM LA!!! So yes, 90+% is Mexican, its not like he is NYC.

But i would have to agree with that statement since 1/2 holds true here (not as many asian tuners).
