i have the same blinker situation. its such a pain in the *** to change lanes during traffic. ha.

 

all you gotta do is buy the new hazard relay ..pop the radio out if you got the keys or whatever (i got the dealer to do it for me) and basically pull this lil plastic thing down push the hazard button out and replace it and thats about it

i have this wacky problem where the blinkers and hazards work fine, but the SOUND is acting up. the "click" noise that happens in sync with the blinkers will occasionally go off by itself- even when the blinkers or hazards arent on. this is one of those problems that is annoying, but doesnt really affect anything so i havent tried to fix it. but that link makes it seem simple so maybe i will get around to that sometime soon.

 

Yep, it's the relay switch. The bad news is my soundpan was cracked and needs to be replaced, and my glovebox won't open and will cost $855 to replace.

 

So can I take this to any place that installs car stereos and ask them to pull the radio?

 

If they're nice enough to. Its worth a try.

 

would there be any harm in just removing the undertray?
