Default N249,SAI,EGR delete

after following the thread over at vortex done by savwko(mike) i removed all this junk...its crazy tho that the 225 intake manifolds have only two vac nipples on them..so now i have a direct vac line for my R1 DV and sadly have to tee the FPR for my boost gauge... but i figured the DV would be a better choice...havnt driven the car yet so i know im expecting one or two codes but i rather have a better running car and not have some stupid solenoids controlling my dv. and the amount of space that is free'ed up is amazing....and not to mention makes the engine bay look a lot cleaner

Andrew,

Could you link the DIY for this procedure? As Some of you may remember; I did an accidental "N249 delete" a few months back when I pulled my manifold to polish it and install the silicone vac hoses. I accidentally snapped off the nipple on the bottom of the manifold when doing some work and ended up pulling it out, polishing it up, welding a new nipple on it, and installing it all back in... but not before snapping yet ANOTHER nipple off. This time it was the nipple on the N249 solenoid.

I just rerouted the vac hoses around the N249 and disconnected it (still haven't had a CEL come up yet). I would LOOOOOOVVVVEEEEEEEE to get rid of the SAI/EGR too; I hate having that huge "Clusterfukc" as nate would say... sitting on top of my engine.

So yea.... hit me up on the DIY and I'll pull that crap this weekend when I finish putting in the second nozzle on the W/M kit.

Oh btw... on a side note (completely unrelated), can someone please PM me and tell me why everyone started ******* bashing the snowperformance W/M kit now?!?! I swear to God... when I bought my kit... everyone was bashing devil's Own... now (even though still nobody else has bought one)... everyone is ****** bashing snowperformance. Whats the deal? I happen to like my kit.

-shrugs-
