Well i have been reserachin on the forums but have not found a good response to what the n75 vavle actually does.

I have a apr chip, and a forge DV, and my question is should i upgrade my stock n75 valve to a Race version ?

I have a 2000 Quattro coupe. Thanks

the n75 is a nonadjustable ebc. it only bleeds of X amount of air and thats it. Just get a mbc and you can take control of your boost. Take a look in my sig, you can get some more info in there.

ok, thanks for the reply. I had a feeling that it was like a boost controller. now my question is what stock PSI is run on a 2000 TT and what PSI is run on a APR chip. If i do get a boost controller, how can I replicate the same boost as set in the chip? I am scared to get a MBC beacuse i dont like the set-up period. I want something that works like stock and wont blow my engine.

Also does the race n75 increase pressure ? Will this increase lead to damage ? I know the chip is already putting a stain on my engine, I do NOT want to blow anything. Thanks

stock - 11psi
apr - 1bar ~15psi

if you get a bleed valve it will run like stock and your turbo will go long before your engine. get a mbc, set it to 20psi and youll be happy. the set up is easy and takes a few mins to install and a few more runs to set it.

Your a little over protective, i dont even have a chip and i run 20psi. The chip isnt putting anything out that the turbo or engine cant handle. the stock internals can easy do 300ftlbs and more hp. The only thing that really cant handle the extra psi is the ic and exhaust, both really need upgraded.

the other n75s increase psi, but only like 1 or 2psi. plus you cant adjust them like a mbc or increase spool and hold boost longer like a mbc. so get a bleed valve mbc and youll be fine.

so my car is safe to around 20 PSI. I have bought a Boost factory SMIC but have still not installed it. I would like to know what MBC you guysw recommend. I know the boost machine is a favorite but I dont like the install and set-up. Seems a little to difficult.

I have a spring and ball .. like this one but mine is round. Should i use such a low quality product on such a expensive peice of equipment ?

the boost machine is prolly the least hardest to install....very simple...already comes assembled and all you have to do is connect two hoses (1 from the N75) and one from the charge pipe

Ok thanks. Im going to place an order for the boost machine. I like the option that I can set boost onset and boost levels. Im not sure how the heck im going to tune it but at least I have a vag com to make sure everything is ok.

Now what can i do to get the exhuast flowing better without spending $650+ on a blueflame or borla exhuast ?

my boost controller does all the same things and cost far less. plus its not some bulky goofy looking thing. look at my sig, it in there, turboxs hp mbc or you can get a voodoo of ebay, they are like $50 shipped for the same design.

the cheapest way to get an exhaust would be to have one custom made.

I did a read up on a really good EBC...... I may end up going this route.. And can adjust everything from inside the car from stck mode to 40 psi. Much more money though
