Default need help with wheel spacer sizes

I just bought 17x7 Borbet LS wheels for my 2000 TT and they have off set of +38, wheels are way too much in compared to stock wheels. I would like to get spacers, when I used the wheel spacer caculator I calculated for the rears 35mm spacers that would leave it 6.05mm INSIDE fender and for the front I would get 30mm spacers that would make it 5.05mm INSIDE fender. Are my calculations valid and any suggestions before I order the spacers.

Thanks Andrew

Yes I used that calculator, so you think 35mm spacer is too much ? I dont want to have them flush just out a big more.

hmm which spacers are you getting? H&R's? i know at a certain mm, they dont use discs anymore... don't they bolt onto your stock hubs then have bolts from the spacers? most 30-35mm+ spacers i find are for stangs'

^ for your 7" wide borbet LM's, i'd get 35mm all around for the closest you can get tobeing flushwith the fender.

Front Wheel

Width: 7 Offset: ET+38 Spacer: 35mm ~ 0.05mm INSIDE fender

Rear Wheel

Width: 7 Offset: ET+38 Spacer: 35mm ~6.05mm INSIDE fender

btw... did you buy those wheels off a member on the forums?? if so im jealous because those are pretty nasty and when i have the money im throwing them on along with some Toyo T1Rs... orgasmic i know...

does a 17' wheel seem like it should be accompanied by a 225/45?? because i went to a local dealer and looked and that was what was on them but i dont know if it varies from a 180 to a 225.
