Default Need info on install of Half K-Mac kit

My car is in the shop getting the exhaust and suspension work done. What I need to know is does the Half K-Mac kit go on the forward position of the lower rear control arm? That seems like the logical place, but I'm not sure.

Forward? Maybe its too late and im not thinking straight, but isn't it inboard or outboard?
If I remember right, I mounted my full kit inboard, I'd do the same with a half kit.

What I meant was do they go on the leading edge of the control arm inside or on the trailing edge? Maybe I have this all screwed up.

I put mine on the rear, lower inside. One for the driver's side and one for the passengers side.

Thanks Beca... I don't know where they put them, but they didn't call me to ask what to do with them so I guess they've seen them before. As long as it aligns correctly, that's all I care about.

Sorry, your question was vague to me.
This is what an arm with stock bushing looks like, and the kmac next to it, theres 2 halfs of the plastic bushing, which cover a steel center, with a keyed bolt. The steel center isn't drilled on center, its eccentric, so that when you turn the bolt, it spins off center (lengthening or shortening the arm length).

The stock bushing is pressed out, the plastic pieces are pressed in from either end, and then the steel piece is slid thru the center. That completes the bushing, all you do is replace the control arm, and slide the bolt thru.
It may have been installed already, but it doesn't hurt to know whats going on there.

Make sure you lube it up when you put the new bushings in!

The tech must have figured it out. Man oh man I can't wait to get my car back. They did all the suspension today but the alignment tech was already gone when he finished so I have to wait to pick it up until Monday. That's gonna suck cos' I work until 3:30 and don't get home until about 5pm and have to drive back to Pittsburgh from Youngstown after getting home so I can pick the car up. It gonna be after 8:00 PM before I get home. Ugh!

But at least you'll have your car, and it'll be aligned, right?

Oh yeah... I'm just bummed cos' I want it back, but I wouldn't have it any other way. It's gotta be done right.... no two ways about it.
