it dosnt have a cold start injector that's the older babies the coolant temp sensor takes it place CTS

 

hmm...I've already replaced the CTS not more then a month ago. I highly doubt it could be that. No codes are thrown, No check engine light...*shrug* guess ill call an audi dealer and just say take a look and plug it up. Everythings connected, all passages are clear, plugs look great, coolants full, oils dirty...,flow is spot on.

When I started the car one night this past week - a fellow coworker said "it sounds like a valve opening and shutting fast" when it decides to cough and sputter. I was reading up on wastegates and other turbo related areas - would the CTS send a signal to the wastegate on starts or is that more of an ECU item. Im wondering if somethings going against the turbo electronically and just screwing it up. Tonight it was very hot - started up just fine.
