New alternator going in tonight! - I need your help!
Hey guys,
My alternator started failing and finally went out last friday. My new alternator arrived this morning and I will be putting it in this evening. - Can anyone please post some links for directions for removal? - I will be removing it with a friend who is an ASE mechanic however, we would like to know what all we HAVE to remove to get the alternator out, and what we do not. - If you have done this or know where I can find instructions I would GREATLY appreciate it!
Thanks guys!

Hope this helps... Vagcat register to see the image
I would think you can do this with the car on the ground. Might be a little tight to get in there though. Good luck!

This link shows me how to disassemple and rebuild the alternator but it does not instruct me how to remove it and replace it.
Is there a part of the website I am not able to find?
Thanks.
