new mods :)
Just wanted to give high marks to the modshack intakes that i just put on my TT. definately sounds great especially with the new forge BOV i put on today. if you're interested in the modshack intakes, the website is http://www.modshack.info/vtda.htm and i recommend them to anyone looking for a new intake. now if only my new wheels and tires would get here
I'm sorry but anyone that talks about having stage 3+ kit in their TT & isn't talking about a new turbo... ow my head. I would have recommended a K&N intake kit that cost $150.00 shipped & opens more space in the bonnet. Everyone has their own taste's then again.
The crapshack I am assuming. He has stages..I always thought that was funny as well buy this coffee can intake and my GIANT Home Depot MBC and you are almost there, LOL! A plain old open element filter flows better than the VTDA. I paid over $150 (overpaid cuz these things can be found all over vortex for cheap)for my Pflow but that also out performs the crapshack. All the Pflow is, is an open conical K&N with a heat shield for Nuespeed advertising. The VTDA is an improvement over stock from the testing I seen but a swiss cheesed airbox offers about the same and is FREE.
A intake is just a intake, I really hope your not sold on all his products. You don't wanna buy the "boost machine" since 4 people I've spoken to about it hate it & said their TT never ran so awful since they put it in.
I disagree some do flow better than others....that's a fact. Steve has good intentions but the same thing can be had for cheaper and better performance. That boost machine is a joke...it is sooooo damn huge. Over on devils own forums (jettared has one) some guy thought it was some seloniod gizmo.......when he saw his W/M install.
