New noise in rear (no - not fuel sender)

Ok, so I changed my fuel filter, transmission fluid, and haldex fluid/ filter (1-bottle kit from ecstuning) all in 1 sitting. Unfortunately, I had only gotten 3 quarts of tran fluid instead of the apparently needed 3.5, and also forgot to heat up the haldex fluid to the recommended 90deg Fahrenheit (or whatever it is, don't remember).

Now I have this rapid popping noise when going less than 20 mph or so, and after driving the 30 minutes home after work, the noise is no longer present -- however, I can force it to start again by stopping, turning my wheel all the way left or right, then making the turn and straightening up again.

I topped off my tran fluid thinking that may have been it, but to no avail. I then thought perhaps it's a CV joint, so i drove in reverse in tight circles to the left & the right, but the noise happened in both directions, and is also hard to pin-point to one side.

help......

p.s. this is seperate to the oft mentioned fuel-sender-whatever-it-is popping noise that seems to come from the gas tank. have that pop as well.

I have that weird popping sound too coming from the gas tank area. I can hear it when I park my car and let it idle for a minute. No idea what the hells making it. Im interested to find out though.

Every once in a while, I hear the noise Anos is talking about. I'd really like to know what it is too.
