Default A New one!

Ok! This morning I'm watching my fuel gauge needle bounce back and forth from half to full, WTF?
Craziest damn thing I have ever seen!
Does this mean my cluster is going wacko?
Or is there a fuse to this as well?
Everything else was working properly except for the fuel Gauge Needle!
Damndest! thing I have ever seen!
Reminded me of my old 79' beetle with the the floater fuel gauge!
Funny! Anyone have a glue of why? My fuel needle went nuts?

more likely the sender than the cluster. Mine had an issue and now it goes way past F and empty is about 1/2 tank

Its the gauge in the cluster. You can use the x miles to empty.

use the rocker switch on the end of the wiper lever to change the readout on the display on the screen behind the steering wheel to "distance to empty". It is one of several readouts within the trip computers.

don't know what's wrong with your fuel gauge. but that should give all the info you need.

Ok! Yes I know about that, though not sure that will fix the strange readings with the fuel gauge, I will be using the vag-com tonight too make sure. Thanks!
