hey everyone i am new to the site. i used to have a mustang gt with some mods and i totaled it, so i found my Audi tt and i love it. it is a 2000 cuattro desert green pearl i think. anyways i just got the car and i am new to imports, even more so euro imports. i know a pretty good bit about the car but don't lnow where to start modding engine wise. i know domestics but i am not that familiar with how to improve performance in imports. i heard a chip and tune do a lot for the TT. so yeah what do you guys think.

 

Chip for sure, best bang for your buck, I'd dare say a required platform to start your modding from. Intake/exhaust come next, the better it breathes, the better your turbo spools, and thats where the fun is.

 

what brand and where should i get it from?

 

Lots of choices.. try to find a local tuning shop that works on Audi/VW.

whats the gain with a chip and how much monet is it gonna cost average?

 

Should cost you between $400-500. Normal gains on pump gas are around 35 Hp.

 

dont forget my favorite unitronic. All the tuners even them put up similiar numbers but the unitronic has the best support for custom applications.
