Default New Owner Of TT. Need Help Clutch Stuck.

Hi, I have recently purchased an Audi TT 180bhp quattro 52(2002) Reg. The problem I have is that the clutch is stuck down. It seems like it sucked itself to the floor. I obviously can not get my Tt into gear. Has anyone had the same problem or has anyone got some advice.

Thanks in advance

Thanks, I took it to a garage and they are saying that it is both the master and the slave that need replaced along with the clutch. Is this right?

Thanks again

Did you ever get a reply? What happened at the dealer? I too have this same problem with my 2001 TT - no problems except with the clutch pedal travel then it wouldn't go into gear. The dealership told me that it wasn't the master or the slave and that the entire clutch assembly needed to be replaced.

Same here, but I had to replace the master and the slave. The whole job was
priced at around £900, that was the cost of the parts and the labour.
Becasue my slave and master cylinders had cracked the fluid had damaged the
rest of the clutch system. (So I was told?????) Not cheap mate......not
cheap at all.
If you haven't had it looked at yet, people just guess at the problem. Audi
told me at first that it would just be the Slave and that would cost around
£200. But when they replaced that and moved the car in the morning, they saw
a wet patch. The master had also cracked and damaged the rest of the clutch
system. So get it looked at first.

Hope you have better luck than me

Stephen
