Default New rims, or drop.. need pics and advice

thanks guys, I talked to my friend and he thinks i should get some wheels first
so i need help.. does anyone have any pics of their TT with 17" rims or 18" rims with NO DROP !
I also wanted to see if there were any pics of a TT with 17" rims and about a 1" drop.
I have the stock 17's on it and i dont hate them, so i either want to drop it a little or get some nicer rims.

sugestions about which one is better for the TT or which one might cause other problems or any thoughts at all ?

thanks !

stock or aftermarkets are gonna look better after a drop, handling should be better too, suspension, but make sure you can do it all ie alignment etc if necc

What are your goals for the TT?
Are you going for improved handling, or are you trying to achieve a certain look?

I'm going to do both at the same time. Vmaxx coilovers and 18' r8 or rs4 replicas - gunmetal... Keeping my stockers as I think these things are going to bend - quick!

thanks guys i think i will go with the suspension first too. i like the look of not having a wheel gap !

To answer ouTTie914's question -- I am looking for a more "sleeper" look. I really dont want all the chrome or big wing or anything crazy, just a couple little things. I want a little drop in suspension and better rims, maybe clear corners and thats bout it.
Performance i really think i want an intake for now and maybe later on an exhuast.
To me it has enough power at this time, I just want a couple things to make it "my own" with a little extra

To answer randomloginname's question -- Can you explain to me what else I am going to need to do. I found this link for some lowering springs that dont require new shocks ! Is this really true or is there anything else I HAVE to do when lowering it. I dont want more than 1" if all possible, but we will see..

Thanks
