The Z is more of a performance car than the mk1, but the new mk2 TT is a little better, however I would not waste my money on the 2.0T FWD or 3.2V6 Quattro, I would wait for the TT-S and RS model both will sit high on the ladder of premium sports cars, could even be a challenge for the porsche cayman.

from what I could find the new TTs are going to be a little pricy. The 2.0 is going to around 40,000 and the 3.2 about 50,000 I think. I got this from an article I read on line done in Euros and I converted to US $. So Im sure the RS and S will be evn more. The Cayman Is around 45,000 I think and looks like it will still out run the TT. I do like the new TTs and might have to get the 2.0. If I read the article right the 2.0 will do 0-60 in 6.1. Not bad when you think of the 180 TT doing it in 7.8 or so. I will go witht he 2.0 cuz its turbo and the chip will give it more than the 3.2 for the money. So for another 500 you can get about what 30 hp from the chip for the turbo as to about 5 or 10 for the 3.2. Plus all the new handling which is suppose to be 50% better. Man the handled good to start with. cant wait to seeone for myself.

Some people think it already is... Caymen vs TT vs Z4
The video is in German but I still found it entertaining!

hey, you got your chance to post that link!

Steve, theres a new product on modshack, which 'fixes' the factory recall 'fix' for the suspension. You're handling is very responsive. Check out the DEFCON stuff. Think you might be interested.

That was a cool video, and it does look like the TT 3.2 is up with the lower end cayman. I didnt se what the Z4 0-60 time was though. But that is about 53,000 for the 3.2 TT. Man they have gone up since I bought my TT.

Don't forget that's 53,000 Euros so that's about $70,000 US...

Thanks Steve I'll have to look into that... How badly were you hung over?

2.0 TT coupe, starts around 24,000 pounds... about $33,000
3.2 TT coupe, starts around 28,500 pounds... about $38,000

dunno about US prices, but they won't be as high as what ya'll are listing.
