Default New User in Need of Help

So I finally graduated college and got myself a job where I can afford to not only pay off my student debt but also can afford a new toy for myself (my gift from me, to me, for being such a good boy these last 5.5 years). My buddy owns an 03 A4 and has gotten me into Audis so I've picked a couple cars from which I'm trying to decide.

07 A3
00-03/04 TT

The A3 and the GTI are just more in my price range if I were to purchase them brand new, but I want a Quattro (I mean as nice as the FWD handles, I mean it's an Audi, I want Quattro). So I was just wondering what sort of experience people here have had with their TTs. I'm not much into modding (mostly because I'm also trying to save up money for a house soon) but I will end up doing a few things to my car. But, on the whole has anyone really had any major problems with their cars? I'd like to be able to pick up a TT (225 quattro, not sure on soft or hardtop yet) with around 40-60k miles, but if the cars only last until about 100k, I'll prolly get the A3 instead. Alos, any other pointers or websites people could point me towards as I try and make a decision in the next month or two would be greatly appreciated.
