I went around checking my fuses for shorts and reset my clock. I don't have a service manual so I have no idea how to set the date and time again. I'm also looking for a place where I can get a copy of the 2000 1.8T Coupe Owner's Manual.

You can get a manual through the stealership.

To set the time and date:
Pull the silver **** closest to the RPM gauge.
There are two one that resets miles driven (on the right closet to the MPH gauge) and one on the left closest to the clock (this is the one you want).
The time will flash.
Pull the **** again and the hour will flash.
At this point you can turn the **** slightly to the left or right to set the hour.
Once you're done with that pull the **** again to move to the minutes.
Continue on with this method to set the date.
Once done the time and date will flash again.
Pull the **** once more and you're done!
