I guess what I am asking is, forged pistons or hypertuetic pistons

Forged rods -h-beam style or also crappy stressed cracked rods casted??? Etc......

Forged pistons and i wish h beam rods but mine are going in here soon. But the stock engines can hold 310-320ft lbs max. People have made just under 400whp with stock rods and 320ish whp, but that was on a gt2871r with a .86 housing so the lag was big and torque was low. With a faster spooling turbo, the turbo can easily destroy rods

I guess what I want to do is

Chip
DV valve
fuel pump
down pipe with test pipe
eletric cutout
and run a 75 shot of nos only on 100 octane

Call it a day... You think this would be safe in your opinion cincyTT or am I forgetting something????? Ed

you dont really have to be on 100octane, im pretty confident ooantipostoo is still on 93 when he does it. But as long as you do it at the 4k range you shouldnt have any worries.

i dont know much about nos and water/meth injections kits, but wouldnt it be a better idea to go with a water/meth kit? while im asking this questions what exactly does the water/meth kit do? cool boost intake temps? does it add any hp? allow higher boost pressure?

Nitrous = tons of power
water/meth = adds to what you have.

There is 3 or 4 threads where we have talked about what it does, one even just about it (and titled so). And im guessing that thread is either STILL on the first page, if not top of the 2nd.

nos would give you MORE then what the jet is for in whp, go to love turbos. So a 75shot should give you 80-85whp.
